Rotary Alberta Youth Entrepreneur Camp

RAYEC: Youth Entrepreneurship in Action

The Rotary Alberta Youth Entrepreneurship Camp (RAYEC) is a week-long summer camp at Eagle’s Nest Ranch in Cypress Hills for youth ages 12–18. Campers work in teams to build a business—from idea to product to sales—guided by youth leaders, volunteers, and industry professionals.

They learn key business skills like cash flow, marketing, and customer service through hands-on activities and group instruction. Midweek, they shop for supplies in Medicine Hat using loan funds from real bankers. On the final day, they sell their products at a public tradeshow.

Beyond business, campers enjoy fun activities like swimming, ziplining, paintball, and campfires—building friendships and memories that last a lifetime.

Crowsnest Pass Socio-Economic Profile Report

This report, prepared for Western Economic Diversification Canada, provides a statistical overview of Community Futures (CF) service areas across Western Canada.
